Closing party for leader training is very important. It is a meeting that adds the final touch to the training. Thus it could make up for whatever had been lacking in the training, enhancing the atmosphere of the training that the trainees want to cherish, or tarnish it. Thus the leader ought to prepare for the closing party with care.
 Five Principles of the Closing Party
1. Inspiring
2. Harmonious and peaceful
3. Attractive
4. Joyous
5. Meaningful
Five Rules of the Closing Celebration
1. Make it meaningful.
Atmosphere is important for the closing celebration. Thus it should be meaningful.
Once the party is over, trainees are to go out to the world as disciples of Jesus Christ. Thus the closing party should encourage and inspire the trainees to feel the significance of having completed leader training and of being sent out to the world.

Have the celebration at a trainees home.
I
It will be most ideal to have the closing celebration at a trainees home if there is a trainee who has a large enough house to host it. However, if there is no one who can host the party and there is no other suitable place other than the church, then it can be held at the church as well. We have tried having the closing party at restaurants, church, and home, and found that having it at a trainees home is most effective in bringing out the significance of the closing party.

Hold a potluck dinner for the party, making sure to avoid overlap in dishes.

It is best to hold a potluck buffet dinner where each trainee brings a dish. Just make sure that there will be no overlap in the food item. This will also provide an opportunity for the trainees to taste and enjoy what it means to serve one another with food, and create harmonious and festive atmosphere.

Encourage participating as couples.
For the female trainees, it may be more difficult to encourage their husbands to participate in the closing celebration. In case not all female trainees were able to have their husbands to participate, it will be better to do it without the husbands.
5.
Have them prepare gifts and letters
In case the trainees were able to participate in the party with their spouses, have the trainees prepare a gift and a letter expressing gratitude for their prayer and support and resolution to become an attractive disciple of the Lord. Also have the spouses prepare a gift and a letter congratulating them and encouraging them to do their best in their respective ministries as well. Let the trainees and the spouses spend some time reading their letters to each other. Through such opportunity, the atmosphere of the party will ripen with encouragements and inspiration.
